SOULS DEPARTED Story

A long time ago in 1996, I painted “Souls Departed”, mixed media on wood panel, 6 feet by 4 feet. It took me about three months to build and paint. Back then I did not know what a cellphone or the internet was or that I would become a father one day. I remember it being very heavy, but totally surprised when it was accidentally smashed up by theshipping company and destroyed on its way back from an exhibition. Live and learn or die trying. Now, 25 years later I'm very excited to bring it back to life as my first 1/1 NFT.

Dedicated to my kids, Coleman and Henry. Coming home forever. #NFT
